Opened on November 11, 1995, the 4000 sqft facility known as the North Louisiana Military Museum has been visited by people from all fifty states.  In addition to visitors from the US, visitors from New Zealand, China, Japan, Germany, Argentina, Egypt, have enjoyed the history displayed at the museum.  There are over 10,000 artifacts on display with countless additional photographs to view.  This unique collection presents an impressive assembly of arms and artifacts, and chronicles U.S. conflicts from the Civil War through the present War on Terror.  There is a display dedicated to Women in the Military as well as uniforms from all branches of service.  A large portion of display items were donated by local veterans and their families.
